Tell Your Story in a Documentary
On a streamer. About growing up online. Starring you.

Award-winning filmmakers Imagine Documentaries and Edgeline Films have teamed up with Jonathan Haidt and The Anxious Generation Movement to make a documentary about what it’s actually like to grow up with phones and social media.
And we want Gen Z to tell that story.
We’re looking for fearless 17-25-year-olds to tell this story on screen: documenting their lives, exploring the scale of the problem, and looking for ways to break free.
If you’re someone with a strong POV and a powerful presence — we want to see you in action.
TO APPLY:
Deadline: June 13, 2025
Send us a short video (or multiple, though no more than 6 mins total) where you talk to your friends, family, or even strangers about how they actually feel about phones and social media. Do they love them? Hate them? Any insane stories? Hot takes? Regrets?
Show us your personality and POV — not just interviews, but your thoughts, reactions, and commentary too.
